General
A unique split trailer, designed for use in a variety of applications. Cable-less radio technology enables quick set up time with easy to follow menu driven key pads. A combination of battery power and fuel-efficient bio-diesel compatible engine, enables the unit to operate none stop for over 30 days, making this a popular choice for many hire companies and construction site operators.
Construction
Smaller and lighter, making it more manoeuvrable and easier to tow. Galvanised chassis, detachable canopy and doors for easy replacement in the event of damage. External fuel filler cap, individual built-in signs basket, and an easy access sliding battery compartment. The control panel has been repositioned to optimise user safety.
Equipment
Each half trailer is self contained having an independent power supply, a single fixed signal head and detector with no exposed wiring. Low power consumption LED optics and night-time dimmers. Controllers are located at the rear of the unit ensuring set-up and operation facing oncoming traffic flow, to optimise user safety.
Power Supply
Each half contains the hybrid power of batteries and a single cylinder air/oil cooled fuel-efficient bio-diesel compatible engine providing a 12 volt DC supply. The in-built monitoring system with visual display ensures the engine automatically starts only when the battery level becomes too low, charging the batteries while powering the lights. The engine automatically stops again the instant the charge is complete. This ensures the engine operates for the minimum time.
Operation
2 phase, radio linked with menu driven key pads providing a quick set up with each half having the capability of being easily moved. Particular applications being moving roadwork’s, surfacing or time restricted sites.
