General

A further development of the original XLMultiphase controller. While retaining the ease of use and functionality of its predecessor the new XLMultiphase is now more versatile and programmed with features in preparation for future enhancements which will only be available within the Pike range.

The controller is fully compatible with existing equipment thus ensuring Pike take care of their existing customers as much as their new ones. Highways agency approved to the latest UK specification TR2502.

Construction

The layout has been enhanced to provide the user a simple, clear set-up instruction, with IP65 rated buttons replacing switches. A controller of robust design to ensure a long operational life offering the clearest indication of timings and mode of operation in the industry. Will fit both battery carriages and tandem trailers.

Power Supply

Operating range between 10 volts and 25 volts DC. External fuses for supply and detector protection.

Operation

In addition to operating 2, 3 or 4 phases and up to 2 heads per phase, the new XLMultiphase controller is capable of linking phases together providing up to 4 heads per phase over 2 phases. No manual radio channel selection during set-up or operation. The inclusion of a dedicated ALL RED button adds to the controller’s safety features which also include red lamp fail, green conflict and low battery warning. The XLMultiphase can be used as a single head controller or as a remote unit, operating the system independently. The external control function facilitates the XLMultiphase TXT system in addition to future operational developments.

N.B. XLMultiphase TXT is an optional extra available at time of purchase or as an up-grade package at a later date.

Text Alert

Enables text messages to be sent via a secure dedicated server to a number of nominated mobile phones. Access gained via the internet using customer specific passwords controller serial number and password. Offers pre-warning options for battery status, red light failure green/green conflict and comms status together with asset number and GPS location for identification purposes. The Pike system is secure, simple and easy to set up, offering you the ability to manage your fleet of Pike mobile signals effectively and efficiently.
