General

XLite is designed to provide a simple and safe traffic control solution. Taking the development of the standard Masterhead concept further by utillising radio linked technology as featured in the XLRadiomaster range. These freestanding signals offer the flexibility of being transported in a small commercial vehicle or car. 

Construction

Each component of the XLite system has been designed to operate within the rental market. This particular set has the benefit of being dismantled and transported within a vehicle. Each signal head weighs only 17kg and is fitted with an XL controller allowing eye level operation whilst facing the oncoming traffic flow, to optimise user safety. The use of low power consumption LED optics and night time dimmers provide up to 40 hours run time from a full battery charge. Lightweight collapsible tripods weighing just 8kg each and two 17kg battery packs complete the package.

Operation

2 phase, radio linked with menu driven key pads providing a quick set up. The lightweight design facilitates easy deployment. Operating at and from a 12 volt DC supply.

This equipment may form part of a multiphase system when used in conjunction with the XLMultiphase controller.
